More Than One Way Into the Industry
When most people think about construction or transportation, they picture one role: someone on a jobsite or behind the wheel of a tractor trailer. What they don’t always see are the teams coordinating deliveries, the mechanics keeping equipment running, the land clearing crews preparing sites, the aggregate team crushing materials, the administrative staff managing documentation, and the safety professionals making sure every project moves forward responsibly.
Casella Construction’s Summer Internship Program gives students the opportunity to explore where they fit within that bigger picture.
Our paid internships are open to high school seniors, technical school students, and college students who want to understand how projects move from planning through completion. Depending on the role, interns support work across construction, transportation, aggregate, land clearing, fleet maintenance, safety, finance, and administrative operations.
Interns work alongside experienced team members, ask questions, and contribute to the day-to-day operations that keep projects moving. Many leave the summer with a clearer understanding of the industry, more confidence in their abilities, and a better sense of what direction they want to pursue.
